CDI - Short-term Power Intraday Trader - H/F

About the role

Maximize the value of TotalEnergies’ portfolio in European intraday electricity markets by analyzing markets, identifying arbitrage opportunities, and developing and executing proprietary trading strategies within risk and compliance requirements. Monitor automated trading systems and their financial performance, and collaborate with short-term power trading teams. The role requires an engineering degree or a master’s-level qualification in economics, finance, or an equivalent discipline, along with strong quantitative analysis, data science, and modeling skills and very good English. Experience in electricity markets or energy trading and strong programming skills are advantageous; effective communication, collaboration, organization, and rigor are also valued.
