About the role
Research, develop, and monitor automated cryptocurrency trading strategies, analyzing order book and trade data to identify short-lived opportunities and improve execution. Evaluate performance after transaction costs, troubleshoot production issues, maintain trading records, and manage position limits, exchange exposure, and other operational risks. Candidates should have experience developing or operating automated crypto trading strategies and a strong understanding of order books, liquidity, spreads, adverse selection, and exchange order types. Proficiency in Python, exchange APIs, WebSockets, rigorous backtesting, live-system monitoring, and sound risk judgment is expected; experience with perpetual futures and low-latency systems is especially relevant.
