About the role
Manage the distribution, trading, and market-making of government bonds, including executing transactions and maintaining liquidity for clients and Laurentian Bank Securities. Monitor inventory, volatility, risks, and trading limits while ensuring accurate transaction processing and compliance with industry and organizational standards. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics and three years of brokerage industry experience are required; a CFA designation is an asset. The role requires professional working proficiency in both French and English, as well as the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam and Institutional Securities Exam.
