Equity Options Trader

About the role

Develop and run single-stock equity options strategies, making real-time decisions based on market dynamics, volatility, and order flow. Collaborate with quantitative researchers, engineers, and execution specialists to improve pricing, hedging, and risk management, while helping expand the desk and mentoring junior traders. Requires at least two years of experience managing an equity options book at a trading firm, bank, or market maker, with a strong profitability record in volatility-based or directional strategies. Candidates should have deep knowledge of options Greeks, volatility surfaces, and market microstructure, along with sound risk judgment, fast decision-making, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
