Executive Director - Energy Options Trader

About the role

Price, execute, market-make, and manage options across crude oil, refined products, and natural gas, while owning the desk’s options and volatility risk framework and staying within risk limits. Partner with sales and international teams to develop hedging solutions, capture customer flow, grow revenue, and maintain strong client and market relationships. Requires at least seven years of options trading experience, particularly in oil and derivatives or carbon and gas, a university degree, and a strong understanding of options, volatility, commodity markets, and risk management. Candidates should demonstrate client relationship and business development skills, teamwork, adaptability, and commercial awareness; experience in emissions trading and coding in Python or a similar language are beneficial.
