Junior FX EM Trader, Analyst

About the role

Support senior emerging markets and foreign exchange traders with daily desk activities and projects while developing toward a market-making role. Build quantitative tools and trading strategies, manage bookings and desk risk, price and hedge FX and emerging-market rate derivatives, and work with sales to develop the client franchise. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a similar field is required, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience; sales or trading experience is preferred. Candidates should be collaborative, driven, able to build relationships, and prepared to pass FINRA Series 7, Series 3, and Series 63 exams after starting; familiarity with Societe Generale systems and VIE experience are valued.
