About the role
Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies across PJM and Northeast power markets, trading short-term products and futures while analyzing market fundamentals, weather, transmission constraints, outages, and supply-demand dynamics. Manage risk and P&L, collaborate with quantitative, analytics, and origination teams, and respond quickly to market developments. Requires 2–8 years of US power trading experience, including demonstrated trading experience in PJM and/or Northeast ISOs and a track record with short-term futures and prompt products. Candidates should understand US power market fundamentals and price drivers, have strong analytical and decision-making skills, and apply disciplined risk management; they must be in Stamford, Connecticut, or willing to relocate.
